Offerings

Postpartum Doula

As a Postpartum Doula, it is my mission to support you as a trusted guide in feeling empowered through care and education after the major life transition of becoming a parent, and/or giving birth, and/or growing your family.

I offer:

  • Emotional support, companionship, and presence

  • A compassionate ear to hold space for processing your birth story

  • Evidence based education about a variety of postpartum topics including all things newborn care, and healing from birth

  • Lactation support

  • Light housekeeping, cleaning, and tidying

  • Newborn care assistance

  • Childcare for siblings or pet care as needed

  • Help in preparing nourishing meals

  • A custom postpartum herb blend, if desired

  • Support making sure everyone gets the chance to eat, sleep, shower and have some personal time

  • Helping to create comfortable boundaries and systems for visiters and communication

  • Resources and referrals for postpartum mental health care, massage, acupuncture, herbalists, and more

  • Support in creating supportive rituals, systems, and art for emotional processing

  • Text and call availability during our time working together

My minimum package is 4 4 hour postpartum sessions in the week after birth, plus 1 initial 2 hour session pre-birth if possible. I can provide more and longer daytime sessions starting from the day you give birth, and throughout the whole first 6 weeks postpartum, depending on your needs. I am flexible and want to create a system that will work best for you and your family.

Childcare/ Extended Postpartum Family Doula

As a childcare provider, I center play, curiosity, compassion, and gentleness in my interactions. I model love, kindness, and respect through my words and behavior, and support growth through developmentally appropriate play and educational activities. I value autonomy, consent, and following the desires and interests of the child to whatever extent is possible. Every child is a unique individual, and I strive to learn and meet their unique needs.

I offer:

  • In home caretaking/nannying for children 6 weeks old through 3 years old

  • Part-day, after school, part-time full day, or sporadic care

  • Care for 1-2 children at a time, depending on ages and needs

  • Transportation to and from school, activities, and appointments

  • “Field trips” to the park, neighborhood walks, and more based on the desire and comfort level of you and your child

  • Companionship and support for activities such as feeding, nap time, free play, outdoor exploration, book reading, art making, dance parties, game playing, whatever else your child likes or needs!

  • Updates, photos, and constant communication availability when I am with your child

  • Light housekeeping, cleaning, and tidying

Labor and Birth Doula-

I am so excited to offer birth and labor doula services! I am eager to answer your questions, help you plan, deeply listen to your feelings and needs, and support you in whatever way I can.

This offering includes:

  • Compassionate, supportive presence at your labor and birth

  • 24/7 text and call availability from 36 weeks and on

  • Evidence based pregnancy and birth education and resources

  • Emotional support, companionship, and presence

  • Support and advocacy around your birthing experience

  • Practical support preparing for birth, from helping write your birth plan to preparing meals for postpartum.

  • One or two monthly prenatal support meetings leading up to your birth

  • Referrals to accessible pregnancy support professionals such as prenatal massage, yoga, acupuncture, pelvic floor therapy, etc.

  • Prenatal herbal support, if desired.

  • Supportive touch and movement, if desired.

My minimum support offering includes 3 prenatal meetings, and attendance of your birth starting in active labor until 1-2 hours postpartum.

Pricing

$25-45 per hour

For postpartum doula support and childcare.

$800-1,000 for labor support, plus

$40-100 per hour for prenatal meetings.

All of my services are sliding scale. This is to be accessible to people with a variety of economic needs and abilities. I think birth work, postpartum care, and childcare are basic human rights, so if my lowest prices still feel unaccessible to you, please reach out anyways and we can talk about alternatives.
